Wonder Project

 We planted beet seeds. My group me and tai and Joseph. 

We had to put our seeds in a cup of water and stir.

Then I put the seeds in the container.

Steps

 I went up a level on Steps. On my certificate it says I've got 170 gold medals and 18 silver medals. I work hard and get 6 gold medals or more everyday. This is my second certificate from Steps. 

Gardening

 Our class went gardening. I helped fill the wheelbarrow, rake the mulch and weed the garden. It was fun.

My tapa art

 I made my own tapa art. I used brown paper, vivid, a ruler and dye. Iike love hearts so I added them to my design.

Yesterday we went on the field and we launched our rockets

Our group was Kaitiaki, Joseph and Tai. We had to wear coloured vests and we 

had to wear safety glasses too. Our rocket went wonky in the air and it went about 10m. Our PSI was 60 and our water level was 400ml. One group did 50 psi and 400ml.

They put the fins on too. Their one went really high.It didn't go forward, it went in reverse backwards. We noticed the rockets go further when they have fins.

Amur leopards

 Amur leopards

1. They are carnivores which means they eat meat.   

2.  They are a mammal. 

3. They live for 10 - 15 years.

4. They weigh 30 - 68 Kg.

5. They are the world’s rarest leopard.

6. There are about 80 amur leopards left.

7. The cubs live with their mum for 2 years.

8. They eat deer and pigs. 

9. They are good at sneaking up on their food.

10. They eat rabbits and mice too.

We made a sail car.  Tai and Joseph were in my group. I drew the Superman logo on our sail car. Our sail car didn't go straight. It is called the S.S A.O or annoying orange for short.

Scratch challenge!

 Today we got challenged to make a scratch comic, using coding. What we had to do was pick a superhero and make a story about it doing certain things. Our superhero was a guide dog for blind people. We had to make the guide dog do certain things. Some of the things were a starter project in which we got the dog to guide a lady across a road. The next activity was show off with a super spin. What you had to do for that one was the dog had to do a spin in the road. The next one was it had to fly over buildings, but our dog couldn’t fly over buildings so we just made it cross a road again because it was a guide dog and doesn’t fly over buildings. Nextly was you had to add background music. Then you had to support your hero. By doing that you would just add in another character. There was also keeping the score by creating a game by programming your hero to collect objects. The last one is draw your own hero, and what you had to do was use the paint editor in scratch and make your own hero. Scratch was a really fun activity and maybe one day you could try it for yourself.
